 Helium Balloon Forest
Depending on the size of your party room, purchase 50 (or more) green helium balloons. With green ribbon, attach paper leaves at various lengths to your balloons. The kids will love the feeling of being under an umbrella of trees deep in the forest.
Note: A more cost effective approach would be to rent a helium tank at a party store.

Indoor / Outdoor Picnic
If you are stuck indoors for your teddy bear picnic, consider using some indoor / outdoor green turf. Lay it on the floor with a red and white checkered table cloth on top. You will have an outdoor picnic that will thrill your young guests.

Teddy Bear Paw Prints
A fun way to greet your guests as they arrive is to place teddy bear paw prints a long the walkway to your front door. Use 8.5 x 11 brown construction paper to cut out your paw prints and then tape them a long the sidewalk.

Authentic Picnic
It wouldn’t be a real picnic without ants right? Your young party-goers will love finding plastic ants strewn about their picnic area. This is an inexpensive and fun touch for any teddy bear picnic party.

Teddy Bear hats
Instead of your standard party hats, consider making teddy bear ears for your guests. You can use construction paper for the band and large brown pom-poms for ears. Add a red bow for your girl bears.
